Yreka, Calif.--Evacuations orders are leaving many Hornbrook residents displaced Friday night.

Many of those people are spending the night at the Red Cross shelter at Jackson Street Middle School in Yreka.

One woman we talked to at the shelter says the fire moved so quick her husband didn't even get a chance to grab his medication before they had to leave.

And some of those evacuees also include pets.

Volunteers from the Siskiyou Spay-Neuter Incentive Program, or SNIP, setup outside the Red Cross evacuation center so evacuees could have their pets near them during this difficult time.
