JULY 3RD FIREWORKS SHOWS


ANDERSON
Anderson Explodes Concert & Fireworks
Event starts at 4pm. Fireworks at 10 p.m.

CHICO

Nettleton Stadium (after the Chico Heat game against the Lincoln Potters)

OROVILLE
Oroville Community Concert Band and Chorus will be presenting its annual Fourth of July show
“Songs for Soldiers”, starting 7:30 p.m. at the State Theatre, also repeats on the 4th of July at 1:30 p.m.
band students get free admission when accopanied by a ticket-holding adult.

Weaverville Chamber event at Weaverville Elementary School
10 p.m.
Destruction Derby in Lowden Park Arena at 6 p.m.
Lots of events on wednesday, including Main Street Parade from Court St. to Bremer St. – 11:30 a.m., - Sponsored by Weaverville Rotary

Silver Dollar Speedway, after the races
5k fun run/walk 7:30a.m. at Sycamore Field at One-Mile Recreation Area in Bidwell Park
Pancakes 7-10a
9 a.m.-10 a.m. Chico Community Band (60 local citizens perform patriotic and entertaining collection of music) - includes performances of Birdland, Beach Boys, Blues Brothers Revue, and lots of patriotic standards.

LAKE ALMANOR
Fireworks are shot off from the tip of the Peninsula and can be seen from the water and along the lake shore
Parade in Chester begins at the lawns of Collins Pine Park and meanders down Main Street to the lush grasses of the Chester Meadow.

MT. SHASTA
Over Lake Siskiyou at 9:45 p.m.
Presented by Crystal Geyser
View from the Mt. Shasta Resort, Lake Siskiyou Campground, or from a boat on the lake.

ORLAND
Parade returns with new route that circles the high school – 11 a.m.
42nd annual celebration at Vinsonhaler Park – noon-4p.m.
Antique vehicle show, decorated bike, hat and pet contests, food and games

OROVILLE
Over the Thermalito North Forebay (has $8 vehicle entrance fee) & Nelson Sports Complex (free)
Watch from 6-10p
Fireworks at 9 p.m. kayaks and canoes are available for rent during the fireworks at the Forebay Aquatic Center.
