Chico, Calif.-- A vandal smashed a window at Collier's Hardware store in downtown Chico early Monday morning.

By about 10 a.m., Miller Glass was already at work replacing the window pane on the north side of the store that runs along First Street at the corner of Broadway Street.

Employees at Collier's say nothing was taken.

Just a few doors down along Broadway Street, on Sunday a thief stole the tip jar off the counter at Smokin Mo's BBQ.

The owner says that although she didn't stop the woman from running off with the cash, she does have high-quality surveillance equipment, so she - and the police - know what the thief looks like.
